These fires are crazy.  All the schools are closed today.  We are in no immediate danger, but your perspective on brush fires/wildfires changes a lot when they're just 20 miles away.

This heat is like reverse cabin fever.  Unlike places that sustain this kind of heat regularly, there is not much to do indoors, and most people do not have A/C, including us.

We are having some serious attitude problems around here.
